Phew, after sorting through a variety of technical options and becoming the new owner of HTML script for the map, I met my need for information, but not for effectiveness.
In the spirit of communication, if you are trying to find me, use mapquest or meet your needs for play and toggle the map to find Bellvale Road in Chester!
Either way the empathy group will be meeting every tuesday. Last week we had a wonderful circle and collectively met needs for learning, inspiration and empathy.

Empathy Evening...
My empathy session from two days ago still breathes through my day. Knowing that my contributions supported the self connection of another engenders inspiration, hope and an accepting calm. Receiving empathy for my feelings of frustration, confusion and annoyance met my own needs for self connection and communication.
I am looking forward to tuesday evening, an evening of shared vision and learning.

Beginnings...
Spring is coming! I took some time to rake and weed this morning, smelling the earth and new plants filled me with inspiration of continued growth and vision made manifest. After all, the lavender I planted last year is already showing signs of recovery and anticipation.
I look forward to this cyberspace to become a place of sharing our experiences of compassionate communication. Today I met with a dear friend to share our vision of a children's NVC offering that we hope will take place this summer. Using NVC principles we furthered each others' understandings of our needs, in a short while our heap of resources were outlined, concerns were satisfied and movement was acheived! More to follow...
I am preparing for our upcoming empathy circles with enthusiasm for gathering in a practicing group.

Welcome...
The snows are melting and the snowdrops are peeping, time for movement! I've set up this blog to invite communication and the daily practice of nonviolent communication. I feel exhilarated and relieved to be out here in cyberspace!
Projects for this year include rewriting a college paper on Education thru Peaceful Communication, developing a research project on Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (a course I've been teaching for three years now), and sorting thru the current economic difficulties to financial stability. As I write this I feel confidant because my needs for adventure, learning and connection can be met! Oh, and there's just a bit of trepidation - requiring the ongoing practice of self- empathy.
To that end I invite you to join me in an empathy circle on tuesday nights... please see the event at the right for details and to RSVP.
